The opening of the Cinema-Teatro Astra in 1965-1966 was a milestone event for the town of Bellaria Igea Marina because it occurred at a time when increasing numbers of people were going to the shows. Museo del Turismo e delle Tradizioni Qualcosa di Noi (Museum of Tourism and Traditions Something about Us )

The museum is located inside the historical building of the old slaughterhouse in Via dei Saraceni. Although the objects kept and exposed in the museum almost sank into oblivion, they made the history of seaside tourism in Bellaria and in the Romagna region. The cultural heritage of the museum is essential to the town and includes documents, objects and artefacts showing how Bellaria became one of the most important tourist destinations both on a national and international level.

Visiting the museum is a unique opportunity that will enable our tourists to learn something more about our story… and about us.

Opening hours: 8.30 PM – 11.00 PM. Closed on Tuesday.

Parco Culturale La Casa Rossa (Cultural Park The Red House )

La Casa Rossa of Alfredo Panzini in Via Pisino was the summer residence of the writer. It now stands on a sand dune and a long time ago both the sea and the hills could be seen from its windows. The house itself is a museum and its four walls show off nestled ceramics which refer to the main works of Panzini. Its rooms arenow breathing with life again, as they did when the writer used to live there with his wife Clelia, an experienced painter. The cultural heritage of La Casa Rossa consists of the collection of the museum and many documentation resources. These materials include the letters Panzini sent to the most distinguished cultural personalities of his time, such as writers, artists or editors like Sibilla Aleramo, Antonio Baldini, Grazia Deledda, Filippo De Pisis, Marino Moretti, Ada Negri, Giovanni Pascoli, Renato Serra, Emilio Treves, and his family members. This collection also includes both handwritten and typewritten tales, short stories and novels, articles from newspapers and periodicals and, finally, personal documents of Panzini about his period as a student and as a teacher. The collection, donated by Matilde Panzini in 1981, also consists of sixteen works of Clelia Panzini, such as portraits, rural landscapes, marine areas and still life, furniture and ornaments of the couple, relics and personal items of the writer, including his far-famed bicycle.

Opening hours: 8.30 PM – 11.00 PM. Closed on Sunday.

The Museo Radio d'Epoca in Piazzale Gramsci consists of more than 140 unique radios from the 30s and the 40s.
