A slow bike tour on a comfortable e-bike is the best way to discover one of the most enchanting villages in the
Valmarecchia (Marecchia Valley):
Santarcangelo di Romagna.
From the historical center of Rimini, you will ride through the city center until reaching the cycle path along the river
Marecchia. You will ride your bicycle along a route
surrounded by nature, away from city traffic, coasting the riverbed of the Marecchia to reach the town of Santarcangelo.
The first stopover of this bike tour will be dedicated to modern art with a visit to the
Mutonia community. There you will have the chance to admire modern artworks made with recycled materials and learn more about the philosophy of the community founded by a group of British artists who settled in Santarcangelo in the 1980s.
The tour continues to
Santarcangelo di Romagna, where you will visit the Catholic church
Pieve di San Michele and the historical center where you can take a refreshing break. There, you will walk along the streets of the
amazing medieval village with its
historical shops and, upon request, you can also visit the renowned underground
tuff caves near the town center. We will conclude our tour returning to Rimini on our comfortable e-bikes.
