Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd October is dedicated to the discovery of the Rocche di Caterina, a fascinating visit to the four Sforza Castles of Bagnara di Romagna, Dozza, Imola and Riolo Terme organized by the IF Imola Faenza Tourism Company in collaboration with organized by the four communities involved.
DESCRIPTION
Machiavelli and Caterina: between reality and myth
The visit to the Rocca, which dominates the old castle village on a hill, traces the fundamental stations of Katharina's life. The tour focuses in particular on the relationship between the Lady of Romagna and Niccolò Machiavelli, from their first meeting in Forlì in 1499 to the memory of the
posterity by the Florentine secretary who helped create the legend of Caterina Sforza.
