20th OCTOBER
Embark on a fascinating journey into the enigmatic caves of Santarcangelo di Romagna.
Many of these caves were used as cellars for storing wine but, five of them are thought to be much older, perhaps created as a place of worship.
During our tour you will visit the monumental public cave. Experts here will guide you through the underground labyrinth and recount ancient legends and exciting stories. From the
romantic Via dell’Amore (The love street) you will be able to admire the breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside and, of course, you will visit the place of Sferisterio located just
under the Malatesta walls, where the ancient game of “Pallone al Bracciale” was played by the locals.
The tour concludes with a delightful wine tasting experience.
