Bike Tour - Along the via Aretina

Outdoor Activities
€65,00
The route that went up the valley of the Marecchia river allowing you to cross the Apennines and reach the Tyrrhenian side of the peninsula in Roman times was called via Aretina, because it connected Arretium (Arezzo) with Rimini. The itinerary starts from Porta Montanara (also known as Sant'Andrea) and crosses a suburban area dense with production plants, including the one found in the area of the former Agricultural Consortium (large herringbone paved pool). The itinerary continues along the Marecchia river up to Verucchio, a place that testifies with the rich furnishings exhibited in the Villanovan Archaeological Museum, the relief of the connection path between the Tyrrhenian and Adriatic sides. The return will take place along the west ridge of the river and will allow a stop with tasting in a local winery, to taste the local production (optional).
