The Rocche di Caterina - ROCCA DI BAGNARA DI ROMAGNA

Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October and Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October, is dedicated to the discovery of the Rocche di Caterina, a fascinating tour of the four Sforza castles of Bagnara di Romagna, Dozza, Imola and Riolo Terme, organized by IF Imola Faenza Tourism Company in collaboration with the four Municipalities involved.
 

DESCRIPTION
Catherine's Closet. Fashion and Costume at the time of the Lady of Romagna

Caterina Sforza has been described in the sources as an elegant and refined woman in her dress and manners; he aroused admiration upon his entry into Imola in 1477 wearing a black and gold dress in the Milanese style.
Velvets and silks, jewels and refined hairstyles were never lacking in her trousseau. A journey through fashion between the 15th and 16th centuries starting from the reconstruction of Caterina's dress preserved in the Museum to arrive at a creative experience for adults and children linked to the theme.

Sunday 8 October: 10.30am and 3.30pm
Visit accessible to the physically disabled.
Reservation required by 4.00 pm on the Friday preceding the visits (limited places)
