REGGIO EMILIA - WELCOME CITY TOUR

Guided Tours
€10,00
A walk to explore the heart of Reggio Emilia, the birthplace of the Tricolour Flag in 1797, which was adopted as the Italian flag.
The guided tour will wind its way through the streets and squares of the historical centre, uncovering the city's rich history, hidden gems, and fascinating stories. Today, Reggio Emilia is renowned not only for its gastronomy, industrious spirit, and exceptional quality of life, but also for being home to some of the best preschools in the world, thanks to the pedagogical approach known worldwide as the Reggio Emilia Approach.

Three rounds are available for this guided tour.
MORNING (10.30 am - 12.30 pm): The tour will start and end in the city centre (meeting point: "Curiosa Meravigliosa" Joan Fontcuberta's work (peacock) - Via Lazzaro Spallanzani, 1, 42121 Reggio nell'Emilia RE)
AFTERNOON (2.30 pm - 4.30 pm): The tour will start in the city centre (meeting point: "Curiosa Meravigliosa" Joan Fontcuberta's work (peacock) - Via Lazzaro Spallanzani, 1, 42121 Reggio nell'Emilia RE) and end at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre.
LATE AFTERNOON (6.00 pm - 8.00 pm): The tour will start from the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre and end in the city centre.

Every round will basically follow the same stages of the itinerary.

The guided tour is strongly recommended for participants of Reggio Children's Study Groups.
Should you wish to be with other participants during the tour, we recommend making a single subgroup reservation. This way we can assign you to the same tour guide.
