Climb the Ghirlandina Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and take in breathtaking views of Modena from above.

From May 1 to September 30, 2025:

Open daily: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Entry times: 9:45, 10:30, 11:15, 12:00, 12:45, 1:30, 2:15, 3:00, 3:45, 4:30, 5:15, 6:00 PM

From October 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026:

Open daily: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Entry times: 9:45, 10:30, 11:15, 12:00, 12:45, 1:30, 2:15, 3:00, 3:45, 4:30, 5:15 PM

Closed on Christmas Day and the morning of January 1.
Open on January 31 (Patron Saint’s Day).

Visit Guidelines:

  • Access is by reservation only and limited to groups of up to 25 people per time slot.

  • Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

  • The tower is not accessible to wheelchair users or individuals with mobility issues due to the presence of 200 steps.

  • Visits are permitted up to the Torresani Room; access to the top of the tower is not allowed due to safety regulations.

  • Small dogs are allowed only if carried in arms.

Tickets:

  • Full price: €6.00 per person

  • Reduced price: €4.00
    (For residents of the Municipality of Modena, children and students aged 13–26, seniors over 65)

  • Free admission for:

    • Children up to 12 years old

    • Visitors with disabilities and their companions

    • Licensed guides and interpreters

    • Teachers accompanying school groups of any grade

Booking Information:

Booking your entry time is mandatory and can be easily done online through the link provided on this page (red box: “Prenota l'orario di ingresso alla Torre Ghirlandina”).
Online booking is strongly recommended as it offers immediate confirmation.
No credit card or online payment is required — only the time slot and number of participants are reserved. Payment is made on the day of the visit at the ticket office.

Phone or email reservations can only be made during opening hours of the Ghirlandina Tower and the Tourist Information Office.
Important: Email requests do not count as confirmed reservations until you receive official confirmation of the time and number of reserved spots from the Tourist Office or Ghirlandina Tower staff.
