San Mauro shopping tour
Even on rainy days and at night San Mauro Mare
offers unlimited shopping opportunities along the streets of the town and its
surrounding area: during the summer season a shuttle service provides
transportation to the nearby shopping center, several evening markets are also
organized and shops are open until late.
Undisputed symbol of the holiday for families, San
Mauro Mare is also a reference point for shopping. It is only 2 kilometers from
the shopping center Romagna Shopping Valley, recently expanded and adapted to
accommodate the large number of tourists. They go there especially during rainy
days, thanks to the summer bus connection guaranteed by the R line that stops
there every hour. There are over 100 shops to suit all tastes, from clothing to
jewelry, from perfumery to food service.
For lovers of traditions and "things of the
past", in San Mauro Mare plenty of shops and night markets don’t miss. Due
to the restricted traffic zone during the summer season, tourists can walk in
tranquility and enjoy the various windows between a hotel and the other or
browse through the different stalls. In addition to the usual summer weekly
market on Monday morning, the evening markets are held on Wednesdays and Fridays
on the Promenade Pascoli by the
Municipality. Thanks to the contribution of Amare San Mauro Association, the
"market of curiosities" in Via Marina and the antique market
"Memories in the Attic" in Via Vincenzi add to the Municipality
market.
